Should charges be filed against Keene Town Supervisor Bill Ferebee for pumping gas from the town highway department into his personal vehicle?

  1. Yes; he had no right to use that pump
  2. No; he paid for the gas, so it's no big deal
  3. Don't really care
  4. This should not even be an issue

Yes, charge him. If it were you or I taking the gas, we'd have been charged. Having observed this individual's actions and behaviors since the beginning of his tenure as Keene Town Supervisor, this is but one more in a long list of highly questionable activities he's engaged in. In one of the articles written about this event, a member of the town board made a ridiculous comment about the fact that Ferebee had left a trail of his actions so he wasn't trying to hide anything. Of course he left a trail, AFTER having been observed, caught and questioned, he needed to cover his tracks. One wonders how long the individual(s) that reported him will remain on the town payroll. Taxpayers in the Town of Keene would be much better served under someone else's leadership.

Please, it's common knowledge this man has a theft, embezzlement, harrassment, unethical behavior history. What I can't figure out is how he keeps getting away with it and voted back into office. He has cronies in all the right places that keep his back. He is an embarrassing representative to what local government should stand for and shame on those who keep protecting and voting him in. Charge him, arrest him, and take away ALL his keys or it won't be the last time.

Why is this even a question? Of course there should be charges.

If I (a town citizen) pumped gas from the town highway dept gas tank into my car, would they be pressing charges against me? Of course they would be. Would they believe me if I told them I wasn't stealing it, because I got caught, but rather I ran out of gas and coasted back to the highway dept gas pump and pumped 14.6 gallons? Think about that, seriously!

yes, otherwise i would like to get gas for $2.98 a gallon instead of $3.93. Does anyone agree?

This individual has a habit of abusing government monies at the Federal and local level.
